Thankful Thursday | My Business

I am a business owner. It isn't a large business at the moment. But today I am thankful for my business.
My business has allowed me to meet amazing people and to become better friends with people I already know.

How does a business do that? Well, let's take Brittany over at The Butterfly Mom for example, [btw, she is who hosts Thankful Thursday]. We are friends. We have been friends since high school. What what was the reason the ice got broke and I went to her house for the first time? It was my business, I needed to deliver something to her.

Now we often hang out, we might talk about the business but that is not what our friendship is based on.

I have several examples like that where I have been able to be closer with people or meet amazing, positive people through my business.

You might be wondering by this time what is my business?

I am a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. As a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, I sell Mary Kay skin care, body care, fragrances and color cosmetics. I also can help other’s who are interested in starting their own Mary Kay business.

This doesn't mean I am pushy, or I only care about selling product. The product really does sell it self [I know that sounds cliche]. I use the product, I wear the product, I talk about a product I love.

Brittany wrote about what she keeps in her beauty bag.  In my Beauty Bag | Mary Kay
I did not ask her to write that post. I did not give her free product or discounted product for it. I was as surprised as anyone to see her topic of the day. I am not surprised that the products received rave reviews from her though.

If you would like to see more products or shop online with me here is my personal website::

The new catalog displaying the new holiday items will be out tomorrow. To give you a sneak peek of why Mary Kay is more than just lipstick watch this video.

It is great to remember the little things in life that make you happy more regularly than only in November!
